Is the general living in the dormitories for technical intern trainees okay?
Technical intern trainees cannot prepare necessary facilities such as washing machines and refrigerators when they enter Japan and your dormitory, so it is necessary for the companies to provide dormitories or similar facilities equipped with such amenities.
However, within one month of entering the country, the association will provide thorough training on necessary life skills such as garbage disposal and use of amenities during the preliminary training sessions, so please rest assured.
Questions, etc., from companies
Isn’t our technology too difficult for foreign technical intern trainees?
Companies with highly advanced technologies, such as subcontractors for major automobile manufacturers and companies that make parts for artificial satellites, have accepted technical intern trainees supported by our association. Despite this, their evaluations are very high. This is because many of them have received education equivalent to a college of technology (in Vietnam) or have around 8 years of work experience (in China).
“They want to acquire Japanese technology and contribute to the bright future of their homeland!” With this determination, they devote themselves to the training and achieve results. Of course, technologies that require 10 years of training to master are impossible. However, why not see their passion and abilities once? We believe there is definitely a place for them in your company. If you are skeptical, please come to our association's company tour. See for yourself and verify if our trainees meet the technical level of your company.
I am very anxious because it is our first time accepting, is it okay?
We have union support for that, so please be assured.
- While some trainees are fluent in Japanese, most are not. However, we provide more practical Japanese education, including Japanese customs (like garbage disposal) and names of equipment and industry terms used during the training, during about three months before entering Japan and one month after entering, so that they will not face difficulties after being assigned to your company.
- Our association provides 24/7 support. Also, it is often heard that the person in charge frequently changes in some associations, making communication difficult, but we assign two dedicated staff members, Japanese staff and native language staff (who can speak Japanese), to each company, and take responsibility until the technical intern trainees return to their home country.
- There are many complicated document exchanges involved in the application process, but we will support everything in the association, so rest assured.
※There are some documents that you will need to prepare, but we will provide full support.
How long does it take from deciding to accept trainees to their entry into Japan?
What is the employment status of the trainees?
They will be employed as regular employees, so enrollment in employment insurance and social insurance is necessary. Also, the employment contract must be above the "minimum wage" set by each prefecture.
What is the level of Japanese language proficiency?
However, during about three months before entering Japan and one month after entering, they not only study basic Japanese but also learn about Japanese customs (like garbage disposal) and the names of equipment and industry terms used during the training, so that they will not face difficulties after being assigned to your company.
Is it possible to cancel the acceptance during the period?
